Heather & Brad

  We love working with couples who are completely comfortable with each other and who know each other so well.  Heather and Brad go WAY back, as they have known each other since middle school.   And it truly shows – with their fun-loving personalities (and the occasional hilarious and inappropriate comment from Brad) the two have a fantastic joy for life and clearly work well together.   These two are also unique and talented and definitely do things differently: besides roaring away from their ceremony in an old, bright yellow pickup, they made their wedding cake together, with Brad baking the pieces and Heather decorating it!  It was a lovely day, and the reception had some of the best dancing we’ve seen in a long time!  Thanks guys!

Becky & Brian

    When Becky contacted us last year she told us all about Brian – how he was in the Navy and stationed in Hawaii, how he was a totally goofy and unique person, how he made her smile and laugh whenever he was around.  On their wedding day last Friday, we finally got to meet Brian and to see the two of them together.  He had just gotten leave and had made it back for the wedding, and they couldn’t keep their eyes off each other!  Each time Becky walked in the room, you could see on Brian’s face how much he loved her, and how happy he was to be with her (they are moving to Hawaii this week!).

   The wedding was absolutely lovely, taking place just underneath a huge, centuries-old oak tree in a field outside their church.  It was a perfect summer ceremony, with a light breeze and puffy clouds in the warm summer air as they exchanged vows. Everything was simple, elegant and relaxed. Surrounded by friends, family and community it was the perfect beginning to their upcoming adventure together. Thank you for making us a part of your wonderful day!

Becky & Brian Rehearsal Dinner

   The Thursday before Becky and Brian’s wedding last week, we met with them and Brian’s family for a quick family/couple session. With family coming in from all over the US for the wedding, the rehearsal dinner was the perfect time to get everyone together for an updated family photo and to practice being in front of the camera for the big day. Kind and warm, this group of people was an absolute joy to shoot! Here’s a sneak peek of some of our favorites from the session. Heather & Brad Engagement Session

Last Wednesday was a night for laughter. It took us a while to get there (3rd rain-out day was a charm!), but we finally made it to the lovely Inniswood Gardens in Westerville with Heather and Brad.  Working with these two during their engagement shoot, we got a good feel for how the next 60 or so years will play out for them, which is to say- lots and lots of laughter. The evening was filled with random stories, funny faces and plenty of joking comments. It’s wonderful to see two people who laugh so easily end up together, and it is especially fun to spend an evening with them. We had a blast during their engagement session, so we’re especially looking forward to their big day this weekend!
